The soldering quality of wave soldering is collectively determined by five core parameters: flux spraying, preheating profile, solder pot temperature, conveyor speed, and solder wave height. Improper matching of these parameters can easily lead to quality issues such as poor through-hole wetting, component heat damage, solder balls, and bridging. In lead-free soldering processes, the typical solder pot temperature range is 255–265°C. The preheating stage requires a smooth temperature rise, with the board surface temperature controlled at 90–110°C to avoid thermal deformation of the PCB substrate. Conveyor speed should be adjusted based on board thickness and component density, generally in the range of 0.8–1.5 m/min, ensuring that the PCB's contact time with the solder wave is maintained at 3–5 seconds to achieve good through-hole filling.
Dongguan Mingrui Technology Co., Ltd.'s wave soldering equipment is equipped with high-precision segmented preheating modules and independent temperature control systems. Each heating zone can be independently parameterized, with real-time temperature data acquisition, allowing engineers to quickly call up process profiles. The equipment also supports parameter storage, enabling one-click recall of recipes for different products, which reduces changeover and setup time. Whether for small-to-medium batch, high-mix factories or high-volume continuous production lines, Mingrui wave soldering machines deliver stable process control to reduce defect rates and minimize rework costs—making them an ideal choice for export-oriented electronics manufacturers.
